Email your MP - We need your voice to ban people from bringing hunting trophies into Great Britain

Trophy hunting is a cruel blood sport which can never be excused or economically justified. The malicious killing of some of the world’s most incredible, and often endangered animals, butchered for the sake of a trophy by wealthy tourists, is something which we need to end.

In a few days the Hunting Trophies (Import Prohibition) Bill will have its 2nd Reading in Parliament. This bill will ban people from bringing hunting trophies of lions, elephants, and other animals back into the Great Britain and is another vital step towards ending this cruelty for good.

For the Bill to pass, we need your MP to attend the debate

On Friday, when the Bill is being read, many MPs are in their constituencies, but without their attendance the Bill won’t pass. Therefore, it’s vital you take just one minute to send a pre-written email to your MP, asking them to support this important Bill.

Politicians now have the power to introduce this legislation and move us one step closer to ending trophy hunting for good.

The 2019 Conservative manifesto committed to ban imports of hunting trophies from endangered species so we must keep up the pressure on politicians to stand by their commitments. Frustratingly, legislation has still not been introduced.

If we show politicians there is enough support, we can make sure this Bill passes and have a lasting impact for animals.

Contact your MP today and let them know the life of a wild animal is worth so much more than a trophy it is too often reduced to.
